This page answers the most common questions home service professionals ask about working with Oply.
We’ll keep this page updated as new questions come up.
What is Oply?
Oply is the CarFax for your home that helps homeowners automate home maintenance, predict their home's needs, and connects homeowners with high-quality, vetted service professionals.
Homeowners use Oply to track their home, manage maintenance, and hire pros they trust.
We only make money when pros win work.
Who can work with Oply?
Oply only works with service professionals who use supported CRMs.
This is intentional.
We integrate directly into CRMs like Jobber so we can:
• Maintain a quality guarantee for homeowners
• Automatically track jobs and invoices
• Remove manual reporting or admin work for pros
If you don’t use a supported CRM, you can’t connect to Oply.
Do you charge for leads?
No.
Oply does not sell leads.
When a homeowner reaches out to you through Oply, they have already selected you directly.
Even then, you are not charged.
When do I pay Oply?
You only pay Oply if you win the job.
If:
• The homeowner ghosts you
• The homeowner chooses another company
• The job never moves forward
You pay nothing.
Do you charge subscriptions?
No.
There are no subscriptions and no monthly fees.
You should only pay Oply when you are actually making money.
We believe in a WIN WHEN WIN model (we WIN WHEN you WIN).
Do you require a contract?
No.
There is no long-term contract.
We believe our offer should stand on its own without locking you into an agreement you don’t want.
How does Oply reduce my customer acquisition cost?
Traditional lead platforms charge you:
• For every lead
• Whether or not you win the job
• Even if the homeowner never responds
Oply only charges when you successfully win work.
This lowers your risk and reduces your overall cost to acquire customers, which helps keep prices fair for homeowners.
What is a success fee?
A success fee is how Oply makes money.
We charge a percentage of the invoice amount only after you successfully complete a job for an Oply homeowner.

When is the success fee charged?
After you invoice the Oply homeowner.
Once you send the invoice through your CRM:
• Oply automatically detects it
• We send you an email invoice with a full breakdown
• You can set up automatic payments if you choose
No manual steps are required.
How does this work with Jobber progress payments?
You are charged per invoice you send to the Oply homeowner.
If you send multiple invoices for the same job, the success fee applies to each invoice.
Do you charge for recurring work?
It depends on the type of work.
• For ongoing services like lawn care:
We only charge the success fee on the first invoice for that customer.
• For one-off services like plumbing or electrical:
If an Oply homeowner hires you again in the future, a success fee applies again.
In those cases, Oply helped bring the customer back to you.
How does Oply know when to invoice me?
This is handled automatically through our CRM integration.
You don’t need to do anything differently.
Just invoice the homeowner as you normally would.
What does the Oply invoice include?
Each invoice we send includes:
• The homeowner’s name
• The job you were hired for
• The customer invoice amount
• A clear breakdown of the success fee
There are no surprises.
Do I have to download Oply as a pro?
No. The only thing you have to do is connect/integrate in your CRM and you are done. We want to make getting business simple, no new downloads or software outside of your CRM!
Why does Oply work this way?
Because we believe alignment matters.
We only win when you win.
That keeps incentives fair, pricing transparent, and relationships long-term.
